That Way

This Way

When he was young and small,

Yet able enough to find his grip upon the wall,

He would look at what laid beyond his garden.

Sometimes he would think, wouldn't it be good if the wall was just a bit further,

So the strange stone shape could be given a home,

Within his garden.

He knew when it was safe to venture over the wall,

When the weather vane attached to the ariel that shone on bright days would direct itself to the stone shape, Then it was safe,

Then he realized his garden had no wall.
